Battery tech

I have the Sears DieHard.
Few worthy notes:
- The warranty is unbelievable, 7 years and 100,000 miles or something like that. They track it by your phone number. If it dies they replace it straight out.
- As mentioned catch a sale, I picked mine up for $150
- Being an AGM battery, you have to be a little careful. If you totally kill it, it dosn't just bounce back w/ a jump like a normal battery. Has to have a trickle charge w/ a special charger. These aren't expensive, bu something to keep in mind. I'm on a replacement (covered by Sears) b/c I didn't know this at first.

If you do happen to catch a sale going on sometime post up. I'd like to pick up a couple too, I've had too many gold top autozone batteries suck lately.

The Sears Platinums are on sale.

im still running a yellow top I bought in 03 in 1 of my jeeps. I have 2 red tops that havent made the cut. 1 is completely dead the other just barely hanging on. I use the odysseys in my jetskis and motorcycles with great luck. so will defintely try 1 of these

The Sears Platinum deal is today only. You can buy online and pick up in the store. If you do, use promo code "SEARS2012" or "SEARS2013" for an additional $5 off. If you spend $350, you can use "AUTO35" for $35 off... which, figure if you buy two batteries puts you out the door for about $165/ea. Not too shabby for an AGM battery with a four year 100% warranty.
