Brandon began the build a short time prior to opening his business, RIDES .http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46373&highlight= It didn't take long for me to realize that my dream buggy was larger than my current bank roll! You see, my wife and I had our first baby in Dec. of 2007. So, I cut the build short and brought the buggy home unfinished. I had intensions of finishing it myself, but that meant sacrificing time I could be spending with my family. I did get a few things done here and there. By the time I decided to contract out the rest of the build, RIDES' business was booming! Time was of the essence, since I have planned a trip to Harlan, KY this November. I then met Tim Odel and discussed what I needed for the rest of the build. I delivered the buggy to his shop and recently got to bring it home a week or so ago. I've worked on some finishing touches and the next step is a trip down to Larry's Muffler Shop so he can do his part to breathe life into this monster! I just wanted to express how excited I am that this build is almost complete and the adventures can begin! Many thanks to all that were involved!

I like the removeable cage in the engine compartment. I forgot to do that and I kinda need to pull my mil now to replace a rear main or remove the axle and suspension to drop the trans.
Are you running a small block Chevy?

A little update.. Had a problem with the 205 transfer case, it would not shift out of high.. Took it out and changed the shifter for for the rear.. Now I am going to put the limiting straps on..

always good to see a buggy leave the shop. can't wait to see it on the trail.
