Glad to see a section on here. I've been into them all just about. Started as a kid. Then I got into the nitro monster trucks for a long time. Kid came and I had to move to slower moving toys for saftey around him. Got into crawlers hot and heavy. I've built lots of pro ccomp rc crawlers. Now my boy is 3 and I've gotten into rc offroad racing hot and heavy. I race 4wd sct, 1/8 buggy, and 1/8 truggy all electric. Great fun for the whole family.

There is a indoor track in greensboro called blue groove. Off e. lee st. Bring out those traxxas slashes and lets race.

I have lots of parts and a good bit of knowledge about these things so feel free to ask me any questions.

For racing sct you are limited to 2s. I ran a stock VXl slash for a long time and had a blast and won some races. It fun beating people that have $1,000 in the sct with a $300 slash. Running good lipos, tune the shocks and diffs, and run good tires and foams. Other than that its all driving.

I never thought I would enjoy racing until I got out there beating and banging around the track. I looked at it at first as paying people to flip my truck over and then your competitive nature takes over and you start tring to make it around the track at a high rate of speed and past everyone. And the track is WAY easier on parts than seeing how far you can jump it!!

They are racing indoors the MON after Christmas. Bring out the new toys and play. They have kids classes also. A blast to watch the kids. I got beat by a 14 year old in e-buggy last night. HAHA
