is it bad to drive on a control arm thats slightly bent?
mount under the axle is knocked to the center, so the front right lower control arm is slightly twisted...

I have driven on some that were pretty beat up. But I wouldn't suggest or recommend it. Best bet is to replace it. Second is to beat it back square and plate it. Worst is to just keep driving on it. If you are going to keep driving on it, make sure the weld is not cracked and the mount not torn in any way. Beating it back into shape and bracing it up only takes about 30minutes if you can find someone with a welder and scrap to help out.

Having the arms and mounts bent will affect the alignment and the tires. I have seen the xj/tj/zj mounts rip completely off before. Once it is bent, I usually just cut it off and weld on the new mounts like rustys and others have. They are much stronger than stock. PM me if you need help.

I replaced the two lower mounts and the pass side top mount on my brothers XJ with mounts from RE. You may have tire ware problems if you driver for a long time with the bent mount. The aftermarket brackets are much better.
