Need to buy a new axle shaft for a 2004 rubicon D44. I found some a Jeeperz Creeperz (see link below $188). I only need the left side. Any suggestions on getting things cheaper? I don't have the dough to go all expensive. I think the the bend is even enough that if some heat were applied, it could be bent back into shape.

I am not nowhere near an expert on things, and do not have a torch... ???

Aha...

Here is a poor bas- that had the same thing happen to him, seems pretty common... I might run with doing this if anyone else knows of another idea, or lives close and would like to help a poor bastard out...

Thanks in advance!

yeah def get a new shaft, if you were to heat it up and try to bend it, you will never get it 100% straight again and it will vibrate real bad and cause more problems, i.e. bearings, axle seals, loose bolts, ect.
no short cuts when it comes to your drive line, it will come back and bite you later! lol
