So I have an 87 Wrangler Sport. In '08 I bought and Old Man Emu 2.5 kit from Quadratec for it. Some how while wheeling the left front spring got bent. I there is not many miles on this set up even though I have had it for a while. (>10,000 miles) Was wondering what the warranty would be on this. I have sent Quadratec an e-mail about it. I thinking i am probably screwed!
 
Bent Spring ?

I doubt they'd replace it, unless somehow they know they had some bad metal. I been running OME 2.5 lift, YJ springs, on my CJ, for over 10 years. Sagged, yes,,bent, no. I'm running a 304, heavy bumper, & winch. 40K miles? U know, they have a different arch to them, instead of usual radius?
 
I bent two sets of OME springs when I had a YJ. Go with BDS and you will not have that problem again, however, the OME will ride better.

I'm afraid you are probably screwed with the OME springs as far as warranty.
 
Thanks guys. Got an e-mail requestiong pictures. E-mailed them back. I guess I will just see what happoneds. Not to hopefull.
 
Update - Quadratec along with ARB/Old Man Emu are awesome! They sent me a new replacement spring Free! I had to send the old bent spring back, they even paid for shipping. I removed the original spring bushings and reinstaled them in the new spring and am good to go!
What two stand up companys. Thanks for great customer service!
