best buy

The best buy in Myrtle Beach had people lining up since last night. People were wrapped around the building at 5 am this morning. Hope you got what you were looking for.

yea i was 77th in line in aberdeen. we had about 200-300 by 5am. me and my buddy got the computer screens we wanted but missed out on the labtops and tv. they had pretty good stock though

I was at Staples this morning.. holy crap.. 60 year old Asian ladies pushing and shoving like crazy!! I was only there for some flash drives, speakers, and a wireless keyboard/mouse combo..

It was so bad that when the staff would bring out more stock, one guy was all but tossing the boxes into the air, and people were snatching them right out of his hand.

Nicole told me after we left that one olderwoman was holding onto a 37" LCD TV, and some guy grabbed it right out of her hand.. Sheesh!

staples is where my girlfriend got the last notebook in stock lol. they had a killer deal on external hard drives.(400gb for $100. they seemed alot cooler at staples than bestbuy. at best buy some guy tried to jump in line and someone threated to stab him!

Just my 2 cents worth.
The $$ you save doing this is just not worth the absolute insanity and regrets that it gives you about humanity.
I spent the morning at hoem with my son, sleeping in.

BTW, many vendors now let you shop online and buy the same things at the same cost through their website. And you don't have to deal with all the idiots.

I was out there, but I don't go for the deals, I go for the entertainment. I think there is something wrong with me.:bounce:

I gotta admit, my wife was out this morning.... with her mom, 2 sisters, 2 aunts, and 2 neices. Aparently its a looney family tradition, "women's morning out". They left at 5:30.
First stop is always Wal-Mart, just to see how bad the insaity is. Aparently this year was a disaapointment, not too packed.

i dont have a son and my girl was right beside me ,so was my Best Friend so it was a cool experiance:beer:

I went to circuit city and got a great deal on a sony hd tv. something like 800 off. It wasn't that bad but all we had to do was stand in line outside. Then go inside and stand in line to pay. Then stand in line at the pickup. Well worth the hour and a half it took me. They had people lining up at 11pm the night before and handed out vouchers for the best deals. Once you had a voucher you could go home and come back later to pay. As long as you payed before 11am you got your deal.

I went 4 wheeling on Friday. The only lines I worried about were which to go up Kodak and then ledge before you get to Kodak. It was a perfect day for 4 wheelin and little traffic on the trails!

It was worth it for me to get $60 off a Wireless Keyboard & mouse, $60 off a set of speakers, and $80+ off a pair of flash drives. (1GB for $7.50 x 2)

We also went to Michael's for some 60% off stuff for her, then to Northern for me, and was back home by 10am..

That's about right.. you couldn't pay me to go shopping on black friday.

Last year, a brother and I were lounging around on Black Friday while the women were out.
He looked at me and said, "i wouldn't be out there if everything were FREE."

To which I replied, "Dude, I would be out there ESPECIALLY if everything were free!"
