Who makes the best twin stick kit for a dana 300? I am putting a d300 in a 99 XJ. Any suggestions on where to get a twin stick kit? Should I go with something cheap from ebay or go with one of the top manufacturers? Thanks

If you are running a 300 in a 99 XJ I assume(you didn't say) that you are gonna flip it since the XJ is DSD, and the 300 is designed to be PSD. That said, unless you fab a good pivot point for levers, you will not be happy with it's function. If you have a mount that is hard mounted as a pivot point then the levers will work very good.
TO get the best operation of your twin stick, going for the bling cable shifters would be what I would suggest. Every cable shifted 300 I have seen seem to work when it needed to.

If you want the best as in money.....cable shifters, but if you are wanting the best as in saving money, just get some generic and bend em to fit your application.

I'm assuming your gonna flip it, so jb fab makes a flipped twin stick kit, If you wanna put some parts together, me and scott at mudpro metalworks just came up with a low budget solution for cable shifters. I just picked up the parts last night, I'm gonna weld everything up and i'll email you a pic when it's done if you'd like. A few brackets, some circle track twin shifters, and some surplus cables. Total cost should be very reasonable.

OK thanks for the advice. I am not going to be flipping the 300 as it will be pointed at a PSD D44. sorry for not having that in the first post. Looks like I will be leaning towards cable shifters. Anything else I need to know or look for? Thanks again.

there is a guy on eBay making some. I think they are like $65 shipped. for that price its not worth the time to make your own.

Keep us updated on how it turns out. I would be interested in fabbing up a set myself.
