well, finally found a converter box so now I can watch the news and keep up with current events. I have a homemade antenna like the one's you see on youtube, and it works good but I don't have anything to compare it to. so I guess I'm asking what is the best indoor antenna that you have used or are currently using and what channels can you get? also would help to know if you live out of town, with alot of trees and mountains around, cause thats what I got.

I can get all of the 12 and 26 stations real good. 2 and 3 are iffy, especially right now with the weather, and I'm also getting 36(?) which I think is the Charlotte NBC station.

Im wanting to get channel 8 to watch the race this weekend.

I'm in sanford, about 45 miles from most of the transmitter towers. Channelmaster 4226 (i think, might be 4228, something like that) antenna, and 7776 preamp. Get about 20+ channels. No rotator, most of the towers are N of me, a few stations are south, but this antenna receives pretty decent on the backside without having to rotate it.

Antenna is mounted in my attic (hanging on cord from the rafters).
