Best HOTEL prices?

what do you all use? expedia, travelocity, etc?

I use them for research for a good idea of where to stay, etc. Then I call the hotel directly (or go through their website) and usually get a better price than by travelocity, etc.

priceline name your price eis still the cheapest 99% of the time, but you give up control of exactly where you stay
 
Was w/ expedia till they crapped me out of a $75 gas card. Just switched to tracelocity. They had the hotel and times I wanted when Expedia didn't. Plus they were 40 percent cheaper.
 
Where ya going? lol....We primarily use Expedia for everything including flights and hotel.
 
I decided to just ride down to the beach this evening and look for a place in person.

best (coolest) lobby I've ever seen, very nice employees, and they beat any other oceanfront room on the beach road by at least $20. I got a 4th story room at a 3rd story price, so I saved $40 right there. pretty happy, even considering the weather is supposed to be shitty this weekend.
 
we sayeed a few nights at the ramada inn at kill devild hills in july...booked througn priceline for 69/night///oceanfont etc
 
there is some sort of festival/blah blah yankee bullshit going on this weekend. the Ramada, along with most other hotels/motels were booked through the weekend. Honestly, I'm 100% satisfied with the hotel I chose. I feel it was the best choice for me. It's been COMPLETELY refurbished.
