This was the best part of the weekend for me. No offense intended to the CK5 guys but....Me, Yager, Rockeater and Goferit were coming up the back side of Daniel and got to the top just as the Sub flopped. Then another rig had trans problems coming up the left side line and Rockeater jumped in to help winch him up. Here's all these rigs, and all the attention focused on the back up and the winchfest when a stock looking XJ (awspence) and ProjectTJ appeared at the bottom of the hill. awspence proceeds to walk the right side line right up to Rockeaters fairlead. It was like, "what's the problem here, could you guys move over and let me through"? It was fun to watch this stock looking rig crawl right by the winching  Again, no offense to the CK guys, this was just comical. I checked and there's no specs in his sig, how about awspence chiming in with his rig's specs?

Hey now, in all fairness, me and another CK5'er stacked some rocks for him. I was real impressed regardless. He walked up most of it, and just barely didn't have the clearance to get up. (Besides, my truck needed a winch and a lot of rock stacking to get through the bypass).

Ill call your heep, and raise you a taco:flipoff2: . Yes, that is the right side of daniel just before the winching started. I feel pretty sure the rig that busted the tranny is way more capable than that heep. Hats off to the guys that helped out with the winching.

Im not trying to start chit, just pointing out that a yota can "walk" up the right side of daniel also. That taco is basically stock with some tires, and its my wifes daily driver.

i hear ya

good talking to you, i like meeting people on real life and putting a face to the internet names,

its got coil spaces and lift shackes, and a front locker, and a couple skids and sliders i made, and cheapo 30 inch all terrains

i felt like a fool cause thats the first time this season i had to even throw a rock under my tires at uwharrie(thanks to those guys that did that, apparently yall are on here too), including that exact same spot, but one thing that a stockish rig will do is make the trails fun to drive

made a new line on rocky mount i had been denied on a couple of times, overall it was a good day of wheeling

It was like, "what's the problem here, could you guys move over and let me through"? It was hilarious to watch this stock looking rig crawl right by the pissing contest  Guess you had to be there, it was kinda like the 97 pound weakling kicking sand in the bullies face  Again, no offense to the CK guys, this was just comical. yada yada yada:rolleyes: Let me enlighten you as to what really happened. The blazer I was towing cracked the tranny down at the ledge trying to pull someone else up the ledge. I towed him to the bottom of the hills as far as I could till I had no more traction. We then decided to try to winch. JB offered to assist so thats how it ended up. Thanks JB!! I saw the jeep walk up the right side but damn it wasnt anything spectacular. Must have been the 12 pack of giggles that made it comical and hilarious.:flipoff2:

yada yada yada:rolleyes: The stock S10 Blazer with us made it up too with no help, but I guess you were to busy to see that huh? JB is a great guy and I am thankful he helped us out at the time.

meh, youre stealing all my glory, ahahahha

i did notice a little rearranged sheetmetal on that s-10:flipoff2:

and it was the easy side:flipoff2:

but really, i noticed it, and gave him tons of credit because i used to wheel a stock s-10 blazer at uwharrie back in the day, and i know that those rigs arent exactly the easiest things to pilot over those trails

Its all good!! Good day of wheeling even with minor delays!:D

No doubt your XJ was the more capable rig than the S10!

Where's a post about me? I walked up daniel, then backed down daniel, hooked to a Suburban on 37s, and pulled myself, the suburban, and a monster S10 (just a foot or so) back up.:driver: :shaking:

Oh yeah, awspence I whatched you go up and it was fairly fun to watch. Good spotting and an experienced driver and most would be surprised what you could get up that mountain. Good job dude.

I'll be the first to tell you I'm nothing special, but I've done a few more things to my Jeep than awspence has to his...and he follows me everywhere. I suck at driving and my vehicle compensates for my shortcomings.
Background: Here he is doing some tugging on Daniel...it was a fairly stock Waggy that was having trouble staying running.

Oh yeah, that's my arse ya'll are all admiring in that second post pic with the XJ! (or lack thereof)
:bling:

*Adam, here's your thunder back! Someone was trying to steal it.

Well I for sure was not trying to steal his thunder, maybe it came across like that. I thought his run up the right was really good. I think its cool as hell to see "close to stockers or stockers" make it up the hard stuff.

im completely kidding about the stealing my thunder thing, i guess its hard to hear the sarcasm in my voice over the internet, and im sure projecktj was joking too, we're good friends

Well I am sure we will meet on the trails again, maybe next time I will have time to chat with some of you guys.

I'm slack, have not updated my sig. I was the black K5 towing the Camo K5 at the bottom of the left line on the hill.

Here is a picture of Bushwacker.
