Caught this 23 1/2" Brown Sunday morning in Ashe Co. Probaly should have been at church but I was blessed with this fish and fishing w/ Dad. 4 1/2 ' Browning, 4lb, test Tica reel, 1/16oz Rooster Tail. Brood stock but a ton better fight than most.

Fell off the rock in excitement and landed on my knee. Didnt even know it until I saw the blood and dad mentioned it. Also broke the reel handle so I was trying to get this guy in and he was VERY net shy. Almost a 10 minute fight. I ate a 24" in college cause I was stupid and broke and I can make up for it now.

VERY nice! IMHO, if the Lord didn't intend for you to be there at that time spending the time with your dad, you'd known it. It'll be a day to remember for a long time.
