I hauled off a p30 aluminum bread truck several years ago minus the engine and tranny and I think it weighed 12k

I know that an empty early to mid 90's chevy top kick rider truck with about a 22-24' box on it weighs 10,500 empty. It was a gas burner 358 tonawanda built gm motor or something like that?We used to haul old tires to the dump with that turd, loaded it weighed about 20k and empty would always be around 10.5. Too the floor the whole time...it sounded like we where flying but yet never reached the speed limit!

well dang maybe I need to find my scale slips but I could have sworn I was grossing 27k and my truck and trailer weigh 14k

292s are neat and torquey for what they are. Good luck with it.[/QUOTE]
Build a really big tow bar?

Yep~!

I have one in my FJ40 now, its just a little worn, but still strong. Just want an extra one to build with all the goodies..already have a 3x 2bbl offy/rochester setup for it and some other goodies collected.

Cut it into pieces! View attachment 220650

Bet that intake, carbs and header are worth more that the whole rest of the project!

I think dudes still got it, he texted me recently, no one has the equipment to tow it he says.

I work 60-70 hours M-F and always have family stuff on the weekends, so just not worth my time to cut it up.

I paid $350 for the whole carb/intake exhaust setup.

Currently, In my Fj40, I have a meduim duty 292 (was from a C-60), and has the better exhaust manifold I was going to use instead of the pictured "Header" .

Inline engines should have single exhaust IMOP>
