Ok so heres the story i got my jeep about a year ago i had posted an add online about trading my fully built acura integra which made 350 whp on low boost never actually turned it up to see what it would do but anyway a guy with a 96 zj sent me an email and i wasn't looking for one but i fell in love and had to have it so the next weekend he drove down and we traded. I have since ordered a 2" BB and got a set of 31" firestone destination A/Ts
i emailed jeep and they sent me the specs

after doing my full switch to amsoil my trans finally let go so i ended up getting it rebuilt and as soon as i get in from getting that done my water pump goes out so all the money i had for new parts and fun stuff was spent and im back to square one!

I took a wheeling trip to Uwharrie and noticed my fenders where getting in the way so i trimmed them up and then did a bit of beating with a BFH to make the pinch weld flat

and yesterday I ordered my IRO Belly / T Case skid!!!

it had electrical issues lol and i hate wires

200,000 and going strong I liked that it was stock i dont like to buy already modified cars / jeeps cause you never know if they really had a clue what they were dong when they built it and i like to make it unique and my own so it worked out good for me

ok so i got a few things done today and still have alot to do tomorrow i hope to have some serious progress in the coming months

^ thanks man should be alot going on here in the coming months

Ok so i managed to get a good bit done today. I mounted up the IRO belly skid and aside from drilling it bolted right up although having the IRO front LA cross member would sure make this easier it does work just fine with the stock cross member just have to do a bit of drilling and fitting! I also fixed the bushing in my front sway bar it was squeeking and pissing me off. over all I feel decently accomplished for the day!

I have a suggestion as far as the armor goes.

I know you already have all the bolts installed, But you might consider a pan head or a rounded head bolt. The reason is if you get up against a rock or something that is sliding against it the bolts head may want to shear or pull out of the body. I have seen issues on sliders, Not sure how much I would worry with it, But its a thought.

Also the pan heads in my opinion give it a cleaner look.

I referring to something like this,

If you get them go to a bolt supply house (Fastenal, Ect)and get them. Get them in Stainless, the nickle plated will rust.

Either way, What you have will work. Keep an eye out for builds where guys are extending the rears of the TJs, they cut the gas bezel out so you can pick it up cheap or free, one of our members has removed his, I will see if he still has the stock one for ya.

That would be awesome if he still had it and I actually was looking for Allen head stainless but couldn't find it eventually ill switch over to those but for now this will do. thanks for the advise and help man

if you are wanting one to do something like this: (NOT MY GRAND, I GOOGLED IT)
NewFuelFillerMod_0180.jpg

i think i have a brand new one somewhere aroung the house..... if i do, you can have it. i'm in wilmington by the way....

that would be awesome man ill actually be in wilmington next weekend and could pick it up from ya
