Hello all,

I've got a '86 Blazer (M1009 CUCV) with a 4" lift running 37's. Have not done any serious offroading with it yet until I get an axle swap out done (and I think I would be rubbing all over the place with those 37's). Is a 4" lift enough running 35's, or would I need to drop down to 33's? Looking at going with an ORD 4" shackle flip, and I don't want to do any trimming right now.

Thanks for the assist.

Tim

35's can be pulled off stock with lil trimming id think 4in with 37s and clean trim on fenders would be fine...? hope this helps

i have 35's with the ord shackle flip and an ez-inch in the rear and what was supposed to be 4" rough country springs up front (i think they're closer to 6") . i can get the front to rub but only when fully flexed.

^NICE K5...

Thanks for the info guys. Lee, so your running the 4" shackle in back with an extra inch? That looks like waaay more lift than my 4" rough country. Course, its hard to tell since I've got hmmv 37's on mine.

it's got the ord shackle flip, i think i'm running 6" shackles from diy4x and an e-z inch.
i've always thought the front springs were more than 4". the numbers on the front springs say they are 4" but i don't believe it. i've parked next to other k-5's that have 4" and i'm clearly higher. i added the e-z inch just to make it not look like it sagging in the rear, it could just be my original springs have lost height.

here it is just after the lift and before the tire carrier.
