Body lift on a Diesel?

They say can't be used a diesel because you shouldn't lift them. They are for towing Z71Jeeps.

 Hey, it's his money.

Just no complaining about how "dodge sucks" when your nv4500 or d80 grenade. :flipoff2:

And, as cheap/easy as it is to suspension lift a sfa dodge...few people go the body lift route, but it has been done on a ctd. The bumper mounts are ridiculously low though already.

I believe the reason they say no diesels is due to the IC, but I would call the lift company and ask?

I've already grenaded the nv4500 twice In the one month I've had it running out of the 10 months I've owned it, dodges do suck, Cummins should be offered in a Z71

Iv'e got some Fab Fours Bumpers I have to mount up so i can just mount em high enough to cover the body lift gap figure ill get like some n fab side steps later

I've only seen suspension lifts for like near a grand - vrs a $200 body lift that clear 36's by far

then later i can go higher if I want with a suspension lift, my bro is already at 4" so were gonna do a 3" body on his 2500 too with some fab fours bumpers I have in the garage and probably 40's or so

I realize its not practical, but his is just a high school DD :shaking:

I did 3" lift for around $250 on mine and run 37s. You could probably piece together a 5" lift for about $500. Yes, the Intercooler is the problem, I think you have to custom make some stuff for the lines, I'll have to see if I can dig up how to so it.

How do you grenade an NV4500?

Well, I don't know any of yall, but from the context clues I'll assume he might be a little "tough" on his rigs  :driver: :flipoff2:

If I could peice together a 5" lift for $500 I'd def do that over the body lift . . . any info on that?

......you do realize who said that right? i mean im just about as bad as tearin stuff up, but i dont have bogger tracks on my arm...oh and a fohawk HAHA

Dude, the Bogger Track Tattoo and Fohawk are just a few of the vast multitude of unstopably awesome weaponry I have in my arsenal that make me the scientifically proveable mack daddy of snaging attractive females :huggy:

The 4500 might be the bees knees in a heep, but behind even a stock ctd they're known to fall apart.

It also doesnt help when you have the most powerful fuel programmer on the market custom tuned with your laptop to fuel harder than the comp tune they offer for download on there website, and your foot is pushing the pedal to the floor in an effort to show off/blow smoke at above mentioned attractive females :shaking:

If you get a chance during the 4xcross, I'd like to see where you're setting your custom "tunes". I haven't even messed with them yet or read any of the diesel bb's in months for that matter.

Mean either, I actually didn't do it myself, one of the dudes on there emailed me his settings and I plugged em in to see what would happen . . . drove terrible, but then again I pretty much either had the pedal to the floor or off for the short time that it was driving so it didn't matter, the thing is still apart in the garage right now, havn't had time to work on it in a while :shaking:

IDK what I'm gonna do with it in all honesty, I don't do well driving with something that has alot of power, and that thing is gonna end up either loosing me my liscense or putting me in the hospital, thats why I like driving my Z71 so much, it doesnt run well enough or have the power to get me in trouble, also why I don't like driving my Dads Mustang, too much temptation there

For now thou it sits in the garage till I decide what i'm gonna do, I've also lost the interest in working on vehicles, actually i absolutly hate it now with a passion, so I avoid it at all costs, one of the main reason my Dodge and Jeep have been nonrunning so much here recently. I may switch over to being one of those chumps that pays people to do all there work for them, idk, then again I really wouldn't have time to work on em right now thou if i wanted to

Sorry man, forgot to answer this....you're a member of pavementsucks.com, right? There are always people selling pieces of a lift or a mostly complete lift over there for cheap. You basically need control arms, drop pitman, drop tracbar bracket, 5" coils or spacers, and shocks for the front, and I'm sure you can figure out the rear. Just remember if you get coils they need to be for a gasser or V10 so they have the correct spring rate.

Preciate it man, question thou, why would i get gasser/v10 coils? I have a cummins in mine.

That was a typo. You need Diesel/V10 coils. The half ton or V8 gasser coils have a lower spring rate.

you'll pay a shitton for bumpers but lifting it properly is out of the budget? Oh Ricky Bobby.....

They were probably donated for the 4x4cross and somehow wound up in his truck.. :flipoff2:
