Rich Asshole at large Joined Mar 17, 2005 Location Central PA Apr 5, 2005 #2 I tightened mine until the rubber started to squish.. On more solid mounts (like Poly), "snug, and then a bit of ummph".. Or, like we did in the Army.. Torque it till it smokes, then back it off a 1/4 turn..

I always liked telling people "half a turn before breaking point" and watch their expression. Most of them didn`t get it.
