KInda of funny that you speak of your pastor as "a cool guy" Of course, cool is in the eye of the beholder. I have a very good long time friend. He was employeed with Lucent until he was laid off. he started at the bottom and was in managment when he left. He went back to school, got he degree in devinity at fruitland bible college in Hendersonville. He feels he has been called to preach. Cool would be having him at a pastor. He is a master carpenter, plumber, mechanic, and welder. He is also a power specialist. He has a big waggy he fourwheels, and well, he knows more about more things, than anyone I know. I think he will make someone a really cool pasor at some point in time. I do hope it's local, I would hate it if he had to move off somewhere.

I would tell you to come to our church but it is in Icard ,you are welcome there but its a long drive from clemmons

any other christians on here??

I keep getting this burning feeling every time I go into a church, so I tend not to go too often... :devil smiley:

But Nicole is a Russian Orthodox Catholic, so she balances it out...

I tend to worship the Blessed Mother of Acceleration, and have made many flesh & Birfield sacrifices to keep the Cruiser Gods happy.

I am, I participate in Campus Crusade at NC State

I go to Clemmons First Baptist... well did till we had some leadership issues. Currently looking for a new church home.

Join us Moravians! We could use more car nuts in our church!

I didn't go today, lots of homework to do. I did go to Gastonia last night to listen to Selah! If you guys don't know, there a, very powerful, contemporary Christian group. Best $12 I've spent in a long time! Guess I should have put a post up.

If anyone from the Hickory area is looking for a good chuch home, I can't say enought good stuff about Christ Church, just off of 321!

Greg, I think I've heard of Hickory Grove Baptist... That's about like Calvary down on 51. Or as my friend called it. Six Flags over Jesus! Boy those churches are huge! They must be doing something right!

Praising God every day while driving a TJ, don't get any better than that!

Worked on my Commando this morning...Good for the soul that kinda stuff is...

ya, most sundays i can be found worshiping with our lady of internal combustion, seeking truth and guidance in search of perpetual motion.

Im a Born-Again believer in Jesus Christ as well. As for a church I go to Providence Baptist Church and we would love to have anyone who feels like comming to visit. (Its that really really really big church off of Glenwood Ave. in Raleigh)

Lots of Christians around, you just have to look. :D

My wife, 3 children, and I go to Sunset Avenue Church of God in Asheboro, NC. We have a wonderful pastor and this Sunday's service was great. Anyone looking for a church in the area really should come to visit.

I've listened to your preacher several times, from the comfort of my living room. :D

...we attend Kernersville Friends Meeting, which is where my wife was raised. I teach the Adult Sunday School class and sing in the Choir, etc. (Dad has been a Minister/Pastor, Church of God (Anderson, IN) since I was a little kid...so I am a PK!)

We have a great Pastor, he gets a kick out of my Jeep, mentioned it in a sermon one week, something to the effect of "When Sam gets to Heaven I am sure there will be some MUD for him to play in with his Jeep!"

(I haven't explained the rockcrawling vs MUD'n thing to him yet)

Great to see a bunch of fellow Christians out there, and of course the other fellows who we have now signed up for every door to door evangalism list in the tri-state area!!!

I am a member of Zoar Ba[tist Church in Shelby. I've only been a Christian for 5 years. I'm also coming off my 1st year as a deacon, and former Discipleship Training Director. I just returned last month from a mission trip to Africa(2nd time). I am also a member of Hands-On-Missions here in Shelby, who I went to Africa with. I don't know if it's appropriate to post here but there are a couple of forums devoted to Christian 'wheelers: www.4x4grace.com, www.ucora.org, www.4x4xtreme.net. I'm sure there are others that I'm omitting.

Last church I was in was Rich's wedding, I'm surprised it didn't fall down.

big difference in the two...

they built a church (we like to call it the Mary Kay Cathedral) that they can't afford...and had a preacher admit he was stealing other people's sermons and using them as his own...and they have had a lot of attendance issues...

we have 14,000+ members and fill up our main sanctuary four times on Sunday (counting the evening service) and our other sanctuary three times...

I've been there since I was 17 months old...and it only had 600 members at the time...never seems "big" when you've been there as it has grown...

spent some time in Raleigh while I was at NC State...and visited Providence Baptist many times...have a friend that went there for a while, and is now a youth minister in Charlotte...
