Well had to replace the front discs (calipers and pads and hoses) on my TJ after one locked up and broke the caliper and pads. Now the drivers side drags. Have replaced the soft line and bled and rebled but still drags. any thoughts....

mine did the exact same thing... i replaced everything (calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, brake fluid) and now its good. *knock on wood* good luck with it. i took my old caliper apart and found that mud and what not had gotten between the caliper housing and the piston which scored the cylinder walls pretty good, and the piston started not sliding back anymore because it was cokeyed in the bore.

I'm not thinking anything can be in the calipers since I just put them on and have only driven twenty miles. Replaced the hose on the side that is dragging and no fix. Could the master cylinder cause just one side to drag? I would think that if it were the M C that both front brakes would drag. Rebled them this afternoon and it still drags. Should I go ahead and replace the caliper again. (warranties are wonderful). I haven't noticed any lines crimped.
what started this is... driving home and the passenger side caliper locked up. No warning or nothing. Replaced everything since it broke the caliper. Replaced both sides... Got everything together and now the opposite side drags. thats when I replaced the hose but still drags. now what???
