That was why I went with flames on the Bronco (this was back when flames were kind of "IN")

That looks sweat troy. Looks like something some of my coworkers would drive just needs to sit about 2 inches off of the ground and have under glows.

I'm still on the fence about exactly what I want to do paint wise. It's going to be a little while before I paint anything.

I have to admit the jk wheels was Chris's idea and I really like the way they turned out.

I'm leaning towards bead liner instead of black paint and doing the rub rails and under

I would leave the Bedliner in the douchemobile thread. It's expensive and over rated. It's not going to protect your jeep from anything and only become faded and a pain to keep from getting stained with dirt.

You said trail rig and not mall crawler right? :flipoff2:

Yeah That's what I have read about bedliner is that it stains. My goal is to keep it looking good while it's my dd. Probably not going to paint till end of September except for the one fender that is black where the flare was. Thank you every body for all of the advice and opinions.

So after @Jason W. told me that my cps was to blame for my jeep having a hard start up sometimes. I went ahead and ordered a mopar cps. It's spent a month riding around in my center console till this morning went to back up my jeep in to my garage to finish my fenders it decided to go out all the way. So it got replace this morning. Talk about tight spot to work in after dealing with that I'm going out and buying a universal joint to add to my socket collection and another extension or two. I had a mini heart attack because I dropped one of the bolts in the bell housing luckily I was able to pull the bottom dust shield and it was right there. She sounds and runs so much better now.

Finally got the front cut and folded and the end caps and wind skirt off. I like the way she looks from the front now. Next step bump stopping and painting the one fender. I can't wait to take her out so she can stretch her legs. But first I need to get moved in to college and the less important stuff packed for college. Already got my tools packed in her.

Looking good! If you still have those canyon wheels, I might know somebody that'll buy 'em.

Thank you. Sorry, some has already took them off of my hands.

Went and rode old house gap road with a friend from school it's a great trail. It has washed out alot more from last year. But it was a cake walk for both of us. Friend was on a saggy 3.5 lift with 32x10.50s.

I did find out I need to bump stop and trim a little more on the front.

I officaly believe in a transmission cooler is worth the money the difference it makes on the trail is amazing. At the grand overland district with 4wd 101 my transmission got a little on the warm side. Today my transmission didn't even nearly get as hot. Sorry I didn't get pics of the install. I installed it when I replaced my radiator last week. So only got a ton of weird stares by people walking by when I did the work outside my on campus house.

My Engine decided it was it's time to tap out. Lucky enough for me I was able to pull into a Lowe's parking lot to wait for AAA. To take me on to my nephews birthday party. It was the second day in a row a jeep had arrived at my brother inlaws shop on a roll back. So after the party Adam, Chris and myself started to take the engine apart to see what was up. We found coolant mixed with oil, ton of sludge, very loose timing chain, number 5 connecting rod was almost no longer connected and various other small things. So I'm in the market for a 4.0 reman engine so my jeep will live again.

After many days of waiting. Then many hours of working the long block is bolted into the jeep ready for oil and few other things re-installed first. I couldn't have done this without the help and guidance of Chris. I can't wait to get her rolling down the highway

After another late night and about a half a days work the engine is bolted in and almost ready to try to crank. New verses old pictures. She's going to have to wait another week before getting finished because of going back to school.

A big shout out to Chris for helping me through out the entire swap especially finishing up installing the last few things. Tomorrow morning is when we are going to turn the key and see what happens. Only thing left to do is get out the bolt we snapped on the transmission cross member and get it bolted back in place.

IT IS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!
My jeep is finally able to move under it's own power. The power difference from the old engine to this one is amazing.

When your shock bolts couldn't handle the school parking lot. Found the noise I couldn't figure out. Must have been it working its way loose. Now I have something to do this afternoon.

Got the old nuts drilled out and grade 8 hardware in place. Going to go ahead and do the drivers side this weekend as a preventive step.
