7/28 - 7/30 camping at arrowhead. this is a bronco meet and wheel weekend. you can pm me for details if you are interested. or go to : fullsizebronco.com click on the dixie chapter. look for the R.I.T.S. thread near the top of the page. and join fsb.com its free to join.

go to fullsizebronco.com. post it up in the forum. i really dont think it matters.

i think it would be ok. i wouldnt mind a bit, to see a EB at RITS. i would actually like to see one up close, cause i really havnt had a chance to check one out in a long time.

yes i checked and an eb can come. i hear there will also be a jeep coming with one of the guys traveling in from georgia.

I'll be there with my '73 EB. It's a capable little truck so I hope none of the big Broncs are offended if I come along. I'll be there maybe fri. and definetly sat. I may have a crew of 3 other trucks none Ford types with me.If it is a problem let me know and we'll do our own thing. Slim

just curious, why would you tell someone they can't wheel with you just cause they dont wheel what you wheel??? :uberghey: i mean i'm a yota guy and not all that fond of jeeps for my own wheeling vehicle choice but i'd still wheel with jeeps if they wanted to tag along or whatever no questions asked...

I met Slim at the BDO Event and talked his ear off about his EB . That thing is nice.

There'll be mainly big broncos there, but we don't care whatcha bring, as long as you wheel and join in the fun. The more the better.

It sounds like it will be a blast wheeling with the big Broncos. What I meant by not offending anyone was that some clubs might want to do their own thing on the trail as an organization so if we would get in the way by not being members, we would just let you guys do your own thing. The Suzukes that were here a while back had a cash pot for the buggy that brought in the most bags of trash. As a club I thought that was a great idea. The trails were so backed up with buggies that when they were stopped they were running all around picking up trash. The rain from last night and what's expected this week ought to liven the trail up a bit. It's totally different when it is wet at Uwharrie.

thanks for asking slim. we dont know for sure how many rigs will be there, but we are just going for a get together. called R.I.T.S. RUN IN THE SUN.
they have it annually at different locations. this year its at uwharrie. i posted it up in here to get some local bronco's to come. but fullsizebronco.com doesnt mind if you bring your buddy with you and he has a jeep or toyota or etc. etc. scroll up to the post by johnski click on that link and check it out. cya there.

i think its gonna be a awesome run, personally. i may have a buddy bringing his 78 F-150 up there, but i think it might be just him and me in my rig. i just think the more the merrier, and the guy posting earlier trying to start a fight isnt welcome. nobody said anything about not being able to attend, based on vehicle. its a public park, anybody can wheel.

Dave, careful. I don't think 91yota was trying to have some kind of cyberfight. Looks like it was a question/comment made in general.

ok john, i guess i might have been a little bit out of line.

but nobody ever said anything about not letting a jeep tag a long, and i guess i thought he was calling us FSBers "uberghey" for not letting one attend, when noone said anything about that.

my post was a general question regarding the posts asking if it was ok to bring an eb, jeep, whatever and people "checking" to see if it was ok... not trying to start anything, just found it strange that someone would have to ask or check if it was ok to wheel with a certain group

hey, no hard feelings 91yota.

but i think it was considerate of him to ask us if he could come wheel with us. when its a vehicle specific club, sometimes outsiders arent welcome. not the case here, but still out there. me personally, i think any responsible 4x4ers are welcome, but some memebers may want to keep it just FSBers. guess its just personal preference.

plus no-one can act as cool as us FSBers are. :bronco: :D

I agree 100%, I think it was extremely considerate of Slim to ask and not just assume that all are welcome.

Dave
