Brown Mtn

I beleive the the trails are closed until either March 15th or April 1st.

What he ^^^^ said.
You could always run Richland Road, but make sure you stay on the main road, not the offshoot trails. They are private property.

Richland Rd? Where's that
I got a boat and I either want to go fishing or four wheeling

I don't think you're gonna be able to go four wheelin' w/ that boat.

1st road to the right off of 321 n above Lenoir when you pass the gas station after the road drops to 2 lane.
Follow it until you see the end state maintenance signs and continue through the stream to the trail.
STAY ON THE MAIN TRAIL.
DO NOT GO OFF ON THE FUN LITTLE OFFSHOOTS.
I DON"T CARE HOW FUN THEY LOOK, STAY OFF.
They are private property and the owners up there all have guns in the truck.

I understand that trail goes into Blowing Rock and you come out near the Green Horse Motel. Local fellow told me about it tonight while I was at the BP Station just south of there on 321. He says there is a large turn out area where you can park truck and trailers on the Richland Road side. I can see the trail on the map and looks like it is shown as an abandon County Road.

Where does the road go to 2 lanes...
LOL

With all of the road construction...
I can't remember.

i would not park a truck and trailer there...it will be gone when you get back to it...they will have it towed

not much of a trail anymore anyway......the took a dozer through there not that long ago...you can take a stock geo tracker there and run everything on p235 street tires

YOU CAN GO TO LAKE HOUSER ADVENTURES IN CLIFFSIDE. IT IS PRETTY FUN. $10.00 PER VEHICLE.772 ACRES TOTAL. rIVER RIDES, HILL CLIMBS, MUD, AND SOME ROCKS TO PLAY ON. THE ONLY DOWNFALL, IS ALL OF THE ATV'S. BUT THEY ARE PRETTY RESPECTFUL OF JEEPS AND TRUCKS. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE INTRESTED.

no, they are in the process of making one. Cliffside is in between rutherford county and cleveland county. you can google it by looking up lake houser. The base of the trails is about 200 yds. fron the lake. If you find the lake on google, then look for the power lines and you can actually see the trails on satelite image. It is pretty fun stuff. Let me know if you want to go, and I can give you a tour!!

I'll do it. I am dying to go...
I replaced my shocks with new ones (stock size), bought a fire extinguisher, bought aggressive tires, a tow strap, and I've never rode a trail in it...
