built ifs runner; should I buy?

I came across an 86 4runner; with new engine (under 10,000 miles) new clutch; master cylinder and slave cylinder; it has 4in suspension lift (ifs) and 3in body lift; running 35's both axles have been gone completely through; they are geared 529; detroit locker in rear and lockright locker in front; I know sas is the way to go but I am just looking for an good trail rig; kind of an all around rig (trail rock mud) I can get it for $3000; good deal or not; what's it worth.
 
Seems like a decent price to me.
Biggest issue on these trucks is rust, above wheel wells and at bottom of rear 1/4 panel.
