Cabin Filter in 01' CTD

Is there a cabin filter from the factory? I don't see any mention of it in the '01 Factory Service Manual I downloaded

I think Fram makes replacements for some.

I assume you are talking about the stale/musty smell some a/c units have? What can be done to remedy that?

I was talking more about air flow...the musty smell can be solved with "frigifresh" all car dealers know about this stuff.

I don't think there's a filter in there Greg... most likely, the core is plugged up...
