Has anybody stayed in the callalantee cabin before? just wondering as we are planning a trip on feb. 8-10 and were thinking about renting the cabin they have there. it looks nice from the outside driving past it on the way to the trails but have never stopped to check it out. also does anybody know how many can sleep there. trying to get a group together to split up the cost but $100 a night wont be bad split several ways. also what are some alternatives to staying there. we have only made day trips there before so this will be the first weekend trip there.
Thanks in advance.
Ben

Was just up there this past weekend and Greg Slade and crew from 4WheelParts were staying in there, HE invited me in to take a look.
Two bedrroms with two twin beds each.
A fold out hide a bed in living room
Kitchen area
and a bathroom.
HEats with a monitor heater.

Looked nice and cozy
Sleeps 6 and all that wanna pile on the floor

I also saw the camper he rents, that one I don't recomend

Stayed in the first cabin on the left, back at the CTB/Southern event. It was def. a better way to stay. I highly recomend it. Stove, fridge, microwave, very good water pressure. 100 bucks a night IIRC. Take a crowd, split the cost. Very cool!!

The cabin is great split many ways. It will sleep 6 comfortably as long as 2 dont mind spooning, otherwise 5 dudes work well.

Setting up and tearing down camp sux. Bring food, dish soap, and stuff to clean up after yourself and you are in business.

I started renting it after Dylan let me take a look at the Southern Event.

Stay away from the trailers...they are incredibly foul!

We stayed in the second cabin at the first of last year. Got there it was snowing and the heater was out of oil. The lady said just use the oven we'll get you some in the morning. The 4 days we were there no oil was delivered. So the oven was our only source of heat. So in our opinion as a group the cabins suck. Also the first cabin is where those people were living at that time. Just my 2cents

OOOH, That sucks...no heat? I would have been pissed.
My experience was a lot better than that.
