How come it seems that Shawn always gets towed off of welder??? I think last time it was his pitman arm... I almost flipped him pulling him out with no steering!

That is one Big Ass Bronco!! How much did you have to winch up Pull Cable?

i didnt winch any on pull cable. i went about 40% up and backed back down. i have an open carrier in the front. however i did winch the waterfall . more driving experience and a front locker with ram assist and i should be just fine.
thanks for looking.

So, what's up with all the cable pulled on Welder?
that was only on the waterfall. i dont have a front locker and little driving experience on this type of terrain so i figured as tall as my bronco is that it would be in my best interest to winch it until i get a front locker and ram assist. i almost need the ram without a locker. the saginaw pump works great until you get the 44's in a really tight spot. im sure you veteran rock crawlers already know all that though.

Mike, kinda nice to see someone type out word admitting lack of experience. Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither are rigs. Everyone don't have the same deep pockets for modifications as others do. Experience will come, as you have proved you will go to the trails. Knowing you, I am sure a front locker won't be too far down the road.
I am sure there are some who will disagree here, but I see no shame in pulling cable. Saves time, parts, carnage, and a lot of time, the trail it's self, esp for those be hind you.

I run an ez locker in the front of my Jeep and it works great. Installation was easy. Looked like a fun trip I will have to make it up there one day.

Put a lockright in the front when the time comes, cheap and quick to install.

I have a lockright in my front 60... had one when it was a D44 too. No problems yet (haven't run it with the 42s yet)- cheap and trailworthy. Tons of difference! I've been up the Pull Cable trail, but I winched myself 3 or 4 times... no shame- the 6 or so rigs behind me appreciated it too!

thanks . ive been looking at the lockright. i bought a psc gear box tapped for ram assist. one step at a time. hopefully i can get one or the other done by april 13th - 15th cause im going to tellico on those dates. im also thinking of narrowing the rear of the body and just run a bikini top over the cage.
