I'm curious. What brand camera do you guys have and how is the video quality? I've seen good and bad, and I'm looking to buy one that is ideal for shooting wheeling vids.

Im hooked on the Panasonic Lumix cameras. We just bought our 3rd one. They are the only camera I have found with 12x OPTICAL zoom that will fit in your pocket. Look up the TZ series, or the ZS1 or ZS3. The ZS series just came out, and I bought a ZS1, 12x optical, 10.1 megapixels, fits comfortably in your back pocket. It takes video good enough for my wheeling vids, VGA I believe. The ZS3 will take 720p video (High def), and is the same camera body. I got my ZS1 for $225 shipped.

Shot with an Olympus Stylus 1030 SW.

Shockproof till around 6 and a half feet.
Waterproof down to 33 feet.
Freezeproof down to 14F
Crushproof
Dustproof.

She is a beast. Been half a mile under the earth with me, been 6500K plus up in the mountains with me. Doesnt hesitate, good camera. Yeah she has her scratches, but she earned em

Its a bit pricey for a camera without a telephoto, but for wheeling, its a godsend. The dust, rocks, water...doesnt matter to it.

^ I have that camera. Already had to send it back once because it leaked and got ruined though. Apparently it is a very common problem on them as I found out when I started googling the issue.
