anybody know if you can buy templates anywhere?

I showed a guy (ex-military) here the taco pic, and he said he thought you could buy stick-on templates in big sheets to guide you in taping off a vehicle...

...or is it gonna be left to my mad free-handing skills?

I already hit it up with Paint, just to get an idea:

umm...I just might've found me a new project:

snow camo, with a black cage, rockers, bumpers and half doors...:smokin:
I could just use my stock color as the light grey..and add white and dark grey...hmmmm...
Greg

Not a yota, but you can get some cool patterns from OverWraps. Here is my SD

That's a pretty cool truck. The deer'll never see ya comin'. (They might hear ya though.):D

I also like the yellow dif cover on the camo'd Yota. Kinda' defeats the purpose though.

I've thought about doing this also at some point. I ran snow camo seat covers for a while and always thought it would be a nice touch. And then Bestop came out with those snow camo bikini covers...hell, I'm already black and white I just need to add some grey.

Greg, Maybe we should just run out jeeps into each other on the interstate and see what we can come up with.

Very old pic...but you get the idea...I've since added a lot more black...:D

Here's a few you won't see everywhere. I have more, but they're on the home comp.

When we did ours in the 70's (the FIRST time out of OD!), we basically had a drawing of the pattern, and copied it onto the tanks and other vehicles with chalk. Put the first letter of whichever color somewhere inside each outline, then painted over that. It's how I plan to do mine when this weather settles down again.

From the late 70's. This is the color scheme I plan to follow when I do my Jimmy.

I like it better than the one they use now... too much black in it.
