Some might know this, if not here is the trick.
BABY POWDER
Where ever you got sand on you, take some baby powder and rub on the sand and watch it fall off.
What I usually do is, when I'm ready to get in the tent, knock off most of the sand where ever it is on me, wash my face/head, dry off, then head towards the door.
I have a cheap welcome mat like one of those green ones with the flower or similar near the door to stand on. Grab the baby powder, take a handful and rub it wherever there's that sand you can never seem to get off and on my feet.
Then step in the tent with no sand on my feet.
When I was learned this trick it was the first time I camped on the beach and had no sand in my sleeping bag/bedding area.
If you pay attention you can pretty much have no sand in the tent! or at least NOT in your bed.
Also, if you hop out to pee(or otherwise) in the middle of the night, as long as you don't wander too far, the baby powder leaves a coating on that makes the sand either not stick or very easy to knock off before you get back in the tent, or just use the powder again.
I'm heading to Portsmouth Island for the next several days, and got me a big ass jug of baby powder ready to go.
I will tell this tip to as many people as I can, because sand in my bag...... and in my bed was the worst part of camping on the beach for me, now it's no longer a worry!
