Hey, I am new here. But anyone here can share their experience of camping with truck tents?

They work fine . I had a Napier which I put on a utility trailer. I had enough room to stand in it, I used it for a couple of years before I switched to a pop up tent camper.
I did the move only because of the time it took to pitch the truck tent and because the rest of camp was always out in the weather when in transit. I had several times that I had to pitch it in the rain or break it down in the rain. I can set up the basic popup in about 1/2 the time.
