can anyone here do reverse phone lookups on cell numbers?

Available for home lines but not for cells last time I checked. There's not even a directory for FORWARD lookups for cells yet that I know of? I think reason being the numbers change so frequently now days?

the person sent a bunch of nasty/porno movis, etc to phone and now being charged with a ton of overages.. want to persue legal action but without proof that phone number belongs to who we think it does.. hard to take action. Police say they can nto look up cell info..

your prob best to talk to your provider. Explain to them the situation and have the number blocked. Most likely they will take off the charges. If not tell them you will find a new provider

they are in the works of taking the charges off. and the number has been blocked by them.. but due to content we would like to pursue more..

Holy crap...did'nt know you could google a phone number!
Typed in a random number and was able to find out way to much about that numbers owner...THATS scary...google scares the out of me.

two logical steps, first post the videos in the garage so we can see if they are as nasty as you say they are... if they are not nasty you dont have a case in court.

second, refuse to pay the charges no matter what they do, if they cut your phone line, raise hell to anyone and everyone you can talk to at your phone company untill you get to the top of the chain. dont talk to the peon, go to the managers', manager's, boss's, wife's, dad's, manager of the phone company, and tell them what happened

Charges have been filed..

so we will see what happens from here.. of coruse the police did say it will be a few weeks before anyone actually gets arrested, etc.. but time will tell
