Have any of you guys ever been to a hog farm? It's a total environmental disgrace. Many, with their waste lagoons, are disasters waiting to happen. Not to mention the inhumane treatment of the hogs. I have become quite an activist, working to banish hog farms from North Carolina. It is a grassroots effort, I am attempting to do it one hog at a time...bbq, bacon, ribs, etc. I am currently constructing a new pig-cooker to help in my efforts. Would anyone like to join the cause?

Looks yummy, but a real bacon connoiseur wouldn't let it curl up so much, that happens if you get impatient and heat it too fast :flipoff2:

IMO "center cut bacon" is the shizzit. More expensive, but thicker and waaay yummier, and dosn't curl so it cooks nice and evenly.
