Can you run a 17" tire on 16.5" H2 beadlock

My buddy has a set of H2 beadlocks and someone told him that he could run a 17" tire on that wheel and it would work?Thanks

Rim stretchers are normally cheaper than tire shrinkers. You can normally find them on craigslist too.

If its a stock H2 wheel with add on beadlock rings, its a 17" wheel, and you can use a 17" tire.

If its a stock H1 2 piece wheel, then its at 16.5" wheel and you cannot run a 17" tire.

The best answer I can think of is it i a very bad idea. Every 16.5 I have specically says not to mount them on anything but 16.5 wheels

H2s are 17s, so yes.

H1s are 16.5, so no.
