Can you use a steering box for full hydro?

I searched on here before...found a thread where someone mentioned tapping their steering box for a steering ram, and just running that with no drag link. Someone on another webboard told me that won't work since the steering box needs pressure from the drag link to circulate the fluid. So which one is right?

Neither. you don't need the drag link to circulate fluid, but the end result is the same..

Shit won't work, buy an orbital.

thats not full hydro. that is ram assist.
like rich said buy an orbital . that is for full hydro and does not require a steering box but does need other parts to properly work.

It will work. VERY BADLY!
As said the steering box needs pressure. it will move you wheels at full lock. in other words you will turn your steering wheel all the way one way to lock, then the front wheels will turn.
Get an orbital
