Canoe Rental

I've added this to my wanted to buy list, but I do need a canoe for the weekend. I figured I'd reach out to the community and see if anyone has one (or two if possible) I could rent or borrow for the weekend?

Or, if you have one for sale, let me know as well. Please see my wanted ad for details on the type of canoe I'm looking to buy.

As far as renting one for the weekend, it doesn't matter as long as it floats. I'll be on Badin Lake with it this weekend.

Ive got a two-seater you can borrow for the weekend. Only catch... its in Gaffney SC.

There must be somewhere you can rent a canoe at Badin Lake. Have you called the stables?

Called URE Stables, they want $100 per canoe for overnight use. Yeah..I'm in the wrong damn business. I've recently rented canoes for whole weekends on the New River for $65 and that includes shuttling me and the canoe. I guess my best bet would be to buy one, but damn I don't want to shell out $500+ right now.

Contact Riverside Canoe in Crumpler NC (on the new river). They sell off their used rental boats at the end of every season. Decent stuff... Wenonah and Old Towne boats. I want to say their prices were in the low $300's

a mad river adventure canoe is a nice boat. ive got one and love it. its a cross between a canoe and a kayak. i think i paid $499.00 brand new for it.
