Can't link to pics on image shack...

My pictures always come out small or poor quality.

Tried linking to image shack and the links don't work.

What is the best way to post some decent pictures?

Post up some examples. I looked at this motorcycle post and it's fine, but it's hosted here. The photo is quite small, but it's also a bmp instead of a jpg, so I suspect you're having problems with the file size limit.

Images posted to the board have to be..... I think it's 640x480px or smaller physical size, and 100KB (98KB??) or smaller file size. If you save your photos as jpegs instead of bmps, you can get a much larger photo in a smaller file size, due to the compression in jpegs.
 
But I thought I could link to pics on image shack and how do some post up those huge pics?

Anywho, I have no image editing software here at work, I'll have to post up from home I guess.

image shack may have hot linking disabled? I don't know. We do to conserve bandwidth.
