Hey all, I'm lining up materials for the new camper and need to locate some interior type supplies..

I've never done this so don't know what to even call it..

But I need some headliner type cardboard and some padding/fabric stuff..

Anyone have any information ?

Tips/Tricks ?

Thanks

Also, I'm looking for some sheets of PVC plastic type material..

I've seen stuff at Lowes hardware but its all embossed with a pattern or sorts. I'd like smooth and possibly some color selection..

This would be used for parts of the interior 1/8" thick be perfect..

Joans fabric has all the vinyl and headliner material..

floor padding type stuff can be bought downtown raleigh at car interior, softtop place on west street next to 42nd street bar.

look in the shower section of lowes and home depot for the PVC sheets.

X2 on Joans or similar fabric store for vinyl. Note it comes in several varieties, biggest difference bein gwhat the backing is made of, and how stretchy you want it (or not). I think PVC-backed vinyl is about $8 a yard.

For the cardboard backing, you can get that in sheets at Lowe's too. If you need it a little more stiff, you can get a whole 4x8 sheet that is essentially whiteboard material on one side for about $9.

For PVC sheeting, yes depending on teh size you need - Lowes and HD have it where replacement light panels are (think of the white panels in an office drop-in ceiling)
Or if that's not what you need, you can definitely get get the sheets from a plastics distributor. Don't know any off-hand in Raleigh/WF but I'm sure there are several (I use Triad plastics hre in Winston)
FYI if you need long thin strips of PVS, look in the wood mouldin gsection of Lowe'HD. They have this stuff intended for outdoor moulding, it's basically just extruded PVC. Great stuff.
