Cast aluminum

Anyone know of a company in NC or surrounding states that cast aluminum? We use custom cast aluminum pans in one of our processes and we need some more pans cast. We've used the same foundry for years and they have quit doing aluminum moulding since we last bought pans.

If you have the mould, I have a friend that runs a foundry. He might be able to make the mould if it's not too complex

What are the outside dimensions of everything? Most of the places I know of only do small stuff.

Is there enough value add for BILLET aluminum pans? I know plenty of people who could machine them.

Sounds like a good time to buy a CNC and start machining them yourself.....LOL

There is still a foundry in sanford, NC. Holman I think is the name of it. I have never used them but fairly certain they are still in buisness

When I hauled fork lifts, we had a customer in the NC Mountains. No idea now, of the name, but I might could track it down on maps. My mind is fuzzy on the location. Fork lift distributor went out of business. Foundry might be too. That was 20 years back!

Castworks in Asheville can probably do that. The owner Hoyt used to work at Peco on airport road years ago.
