I'm thinking of mounting my CB on the dash. I don't have a windshield anymore and figure that's a good enough spot. I've always wanted the kind that hangs down from the roof though. I need some inspiration.

now i just need to put a new dash piece on that's not all cut up. thank you previous owner!
the panel is a piece of 16 gauge steel. wringle painted i think... or maybe just crappy paint job. either way, it's black and not rusty. it's spot welded to the dash frame itself. cb slides in from behind. there is a 3/16" steel plate under the CB welded to the dash 's frame. attached to that plate are the two cb mounting brackets. my external speaker is mounted above where the parking brake pedal used to be... where the firewall meets the side of the tub. speaker is loud as hell. antenna hangs nicely from the rearview mirror. works like a champ
