I need to find someplace to check out my CB it has never worked great from the day I got it 2 years ago. I'm about to re-wire it directly to the battery to see if it works any better.
The problem is I am not really able to here anyone unless there vehicle is less then 15 ft from me and barely able to transmit 20 ft away.
The antenna and cable are both about the same age as my radio which is a Uniden PC68 Elite with a 102" whip a ball mount mounted on my passenger side 1/4 panel.
