We need to build a kennel for the great dane she quickly outgrew her 10x10. We are thinking somewhere around a 25x25.
We called around to get some estimates which go from $1200-$1500 which seems crazy to me.

Anyone know anybody or anyone have some connections? We are located in iron station, right outside of lincolnton!!

Go to your local lowes or tractor supply and just build the lot yourself. It will be alot cheaper than $1200.

Check Craigslist, When my dad bought his house it had a large 25x40ish chainlink on it, he sold it for 200 bucks, but they had to take it down. Figure lots of deals on there.

just an example, who knows how worthy it is.

yeah we have done pricing at lowes and for about $600 we can do it ourselves! Just a pain in the butt to put it up!

You can do a privacy fence cheaper than CL if you can't find some used CL material. Works out to around $43 per 8' section including screws and everything new from Lowes / Home Depot if you build it yourself. Don't buy the pre-made privacy panels unless you just want to spend twice as much for 1x3's and staples instead of 2x4's and screws if you do it yourself.

The kind of kennel we bought didnt come with the 4 panels it came with a roll of fence so we couldnt connect it! Something we should have thought about before we got it!

Dont call big jims haha
I have a pretty good sized lot that I used for my coondawgs. Im moving and plan on building above ground kennels for them.

Might could do some trading or sell it out right.

did it come with a roll of chainlink or field fence?

if chainlink, you might could link it together with a tension bar.

it takes 4 10ft. panels to make a 10x10 area. it only takes 8 panels to make a 20x20 so i guess you could buy 2 regular 10ft. cages and put them together.

not if you have 8 seperate 10 ft panels (2 kennels)?

yeha you would need 8 10' panels to get 20x20.

depending on what your current kennel looks like, you might could get another and use it, or add something to it.
