check gauge light on

so I was in FL and I needed an oil change for the trip back to NC and the only place open was Walmart (first mistake) well I asked for the simple oil change, after they did the job, my oil pressure gauge doesn't go up, the idiot tech , I don't know what this fool did, but he busted the gauge, is this a simple fix?

probably the sending unit, it's right on the oil filter housing. may just be unpluged.

If it's in an XJ

Did you check to see if there is oil showing on the dipstick?

Sending unit plug sounds like a likely culprit otherwise.

Or sending unit broken/cracked, a common result of an inexperienced XJ oil filter changer
