Chevy 4.3 exhaust and Bilsteins

Two things I need a little reference on:
The Jeepster has a pretty much stock 4.3 TBI motor, I added a chip and bored it .30 over at the rebuild. I tore the muffler and tailpipe off at the Dixie Run and noticed a nice increase in power (and noise!:bounce2: ) I've been running 2.25" single tube exhaust with a Flowmaster 70.
I'm thinking about going with an Edelbrock header, 2.5" tube, and maybe a Cherry bomb of some sort.
What have ya'll done with the 4.3? I may add a cam later.
Secondly I'm not too happy with my springs that I installed over the winter and when talking to Alcan, Charles says that most of my issues sound like shocks. I run Rancho 9000's. He says that Bilsteins are what he recommends. He's not trying to get out of anything, he's offered to do what ever I want so I do need to try what he says.
Who has any experience with Bilsteins?
Thanks,
RQ

with all the $$ I've spent on my TJ over the years...

the Bilstein 5100's were the most noticable difference in ride...more than short arm to long arm, more than wheelbase stretch, more than switching to coilovers...

zero complaints...

Greg's loss was my gain and I ended up buying his Bilsteins. The ride is much improved with them. Unless I ever go to coilovers I don't think I will be buying any other brand of shock again.

I have the 4.3 CMFI Vortec in my YJ. Plenty of power. Well, actually, the bearings went out on it, so I am currently having the crank turned and new bearings installed. Anyway, I think that you can convert the TBI to CMFI, or at least put the Vortec heads, but don't remember where I saw that. I have just single exhaust, but I am looking to see if I can find headers, so if you know where you can buy headers for it at a good price, let me know.
