chevy 409?

Does anyone know anything adout a chevy 409? is it a big block and is the after market world friendly to them?

The 409 was a larger cubed truck engine that Chev. used as a race engine from the late 50s through early 60s.There is an aftermarket for parts but they will be higher in price than the later 396 through 454 engines.Research on google is your friend on this.
