I recently purchased a 2006 Colorado LT to use as my work truck. The truck came with key only and no remote. I purchased a couple remotes from Amazon and attempted to have a locksmith program them, they could not get them to work and said maybe the truck didnt have that feature. I confirmed that it has AU0 in the glove box sticker. Next I took it to the Chevrolet dealership and was going to buy a remote from them and have them program it. They were not able to get their GM remote to program either. Before I give up does anyone have any idea what might be wrong? Thanks

Also I should have said that I have an aftermarket radio and I purchased the wiring harness for it that supposed to keep all the door chimes and lights working. I still have the factory radio I might reinstall it and try the locksmith again. The service guy at the dealership said that that might have something to do with it. But I saw videos on youtube that have aftermarket radios and are able to program the remotes.
