Chromoly Link Tubing Supplier?

Word on the street is that .188 wall heat treated chromo is lighter and stronger than 2" solid 7075.
Can also weld bungs into chromo...gotta tap aluminum...

Yep, a twenty foot stick would do my lowers easy. Would be going on rockwells running 49s with a tuned LS1. With the prices I've found so far ($48-$65 a foot), I'll be looking at the aluminum ones soon. I prefer tapping to the welded ends for the links.

Thanks,
Stewart

7075

I guessed at least 50 per ft so I was pretty darn close.
Aluminum typically comes in 12ft sticks. I have some 1.75 and 2.00 solid at the shop if you are interested and with you being in Charlotte Im pretty close. I wish it was still 14 per ft, but 2" is in the $20 per ft ballpark. 1.75" is $17 give or take.

Thanks much - if I decide to go aluminum I'll definitely give you a call. Andy has given me some ideas to think about right now.
