Circuit City taking back HD DVD players

haven't seen anything on the news...but there was a short blurb in the Charlotte Observer paper today...

Circuit City has extended their return policy from 30-days to 90-days for any HD DVD player...HD DVD discs do not qualify...

this ought to allow anybody that got one for Christmas, or the sales immediately after, to get an in-store credit (no refunds)...

for those that missed the announcement, Toshiba announced it's no longer making HD DVD's or HD DVD players...so Blu-Ray is the high definition choice for now...

just figured I'd pass it on to make sure nobody missed the info...

I returned mine to bestbuy and got the mgr to agree to take the 5 movies I had for it also.:bounce:
 
Thats what you get for going out and buyin the latest technology. Sucks for all those folks that paid $150 bucks or whatever to get those things and already they are obsolete.
