CJ gauges

I've got some gauges out of a cj and was wondering is there a way to test them.
Its the temp and gas gauge in the speedometer. I thought about pulling the wires off of my cj to check the gas gauge but my temp gauge has been changed out to a manual gauge. Can they be checked by some kind of meter?

Bump... Come on guys sombody has to know how to test these gauges?

I dont think you can, the sending unit itself shows different impendence depending on temp or fuel level. May want to check out a haynes or chilton manual, they would show if there is a way.
