I have a t-170 4 speed transmission i am in the process of replacing some parts in it, main drive bearing, and main drive 4th. gear. does anyone know anything about this transmission, and are some of the parts the from the t-176 the same. thanks if anyone knows.

Are you sure its a T170 and not a T176 or T177?? How have you identified that its a T170?

pretty sure it's a t-170,looked it up in the id chart in 4wd hardware parts book. numbers on the case c2606xxx.
