You know you knock about 20 horsepower off by painting that engine another color besides AMC blue?
You wouldn't believe the I've heard about that, the guy @ the machine shop wouldn't let me put the timing chain cover in his office (said the color hurt his eyes). I had 12 cans of chev orange in the garage "free".You know you knock about 20 horsepower off by painting that engine another color besides AMC blue?
Yeah that was a Acme top that picture was taken in 92. I didn't know there was a picture a guy sent it to me about a year later. It was a nice looking top but I mostly drove it in the summer and it was a hassle to take on and off so I got rid of it. I'll see if I can dig up some old Kodaks. Is that an Acme fiberglass hardtop and doors on it in this pic?
If so, do you have any more pics of the '5 with the hardtop/doors on it that you could share in this thread?
Thanks!

That looks pretty sturdy, I wanted to utilize the pan I already had so I wouldn't be buying more metal. If there were any intentions of rock crawling I would probally go that route. I appreciate the input though.http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101005
I thought that you might be able to use this. Maybe not if you are already done with it.
